A. Clogged or blocked suction
cover or skimmer basket.
B. Filter clogged (dirty).
C. Poor water chemistry.
D. Improper maintenance.
E. High content of solids in
water.
F. Filter motor plug not
connected to the electrical
cabinet.
A. Leak in suction line,
discharge line, or connections.
B. Excessive evaporation and/
or splashing.
A. Low water level.
B. Clogged or blocked suction
cover, or skimmer basket.
C. Dirty filter.
D. Adjustable jet partially
closed.
E. Suction or discharge line
partially plugged.
F. Pump running at subnormal
speed.
G. Worn or damaged pump
seal.
H. Subnormal voltage.
Remedy
A. Clean suction/skimmer
B. Clean or replace filter.

E. Use clarifier or drain and
refill the hot tub.
F. Check filter motor
connection on the electrical
cabinet.
A. Repair leak.
B. Use rigid hot tub cover;
lower thermostat setting.
