WARNING
Periodically use an independent pH and Chlorine test kit to verify safe pH and chlorine levels. If the pH, Oxidation
Reduction Potential (ORP) or Flow Cell sensors are damaged, dirty, contaminated, or otherwise malfunctioning;
inaccurate results may be reported to the monitoring system resulting in improper water chemistry that may result in
property damager, personal injury, or death.

How to fix high chlorine level in Jandy TruDose Controller?
    • J
      Jon CollinsAug 16, 2025
To address a chlorine level that's too high in your Jandy Controller system, start by checking chlorine and cyanuric acid levels with a test kit. Adjust the ORP set level as needed. Also, ensure the sensor tip is clean by following the maintenance instructions. If the pH is too high, measure it and consider cleaning or replacing the pH sensor.

How to increase chlorine level in Jandy TruDose Controller?
    • R
      Richard CardenasAug 18, 2025
If the chlorine level is too low in your Jandy Controller, check the ORP set level and adjust if necessary after testing the chlorine level with a test kit. Inspect the saltwater chlorinator and its cell. Increase daily filtration time if it's too low. Clean or replace the sensor if it's malfunctioning. Also, adjust the pH to between 7.2 and 7.6 if it is too low.

How to decrease pH level in Jandy Controller?
    • E
      Erin WrightAug 21, 2025
To address a pH level that is too high in your Jandy Controller, begin by cleaning the pH sensor tip according to the maintenance instructions. Then, adjust the pH calibration if it's improper. Refill the pH chemical feeder if it's empty and repair the feed pump if it's malfunctioning. Also, increase the dose time and check/adjust alkalinity.

    • N
      Noah MoralesAug 26, 2025
To resolve a pH level that's too low in your Jandy Controller, start by checking the pH level with a test kit and adjust the set level as needed. Reduce the pH dose time, and calibrate, clean, or replace the pH sensor if it's malfunctioning. Check and adjust the alkalinity and ensure proper dilution of muriatic acid (4:1 dilution).

What to do if ORP alert LED is blinking on Jandy Controller?
    • N
      Nicholas OrrAug 28, 2025
If the ORP alert LED is blinking on your Jandy Controller, indicating that the ORP is lower than 390 mV or higher than 910 mV, verify that chlorine was not manually added. Also, verify that the saltwater chlorinator powerpack and cell work properly. Check for proper valve positions and leaks in chlorine lines.

What does it mean when the pH alert LED is blinking on Jandy TruDose Controller?
    • J
      Jamie BrooksAug 31, 2025
If the pH alert LED is blinking on your Jandy Controller, indicating that the pH is lower than 6.9 or higher than 8.1, verify the acid tank is not empty. Increase the dosing time if the controller is undershooting the set level. Verify the acid was not manually added; if it was, dilute the acid with water or lower the dosing time.

What does error Er2 mean on Jandy Controller?
    • A
      Anthony WeaverSep 3, 2025
If the ORP alert LED is ON and "Er2" is displayed on the LCD screen of your Jandy Controller, it means the ORP overfeeding alert is ON and the setpoint has not been reached after the set chlorination time. To solve this, check the saltwater chlorinator and its cell, increase the overfeed alert time, and calibrate, clean, or replace the ORP sensor. Also, lower the cyanuric acid concentration in the pool and increase daily filtration time. Refer to the "pH level is too high" section.

What does error Er1 mean on Jandy Controller?
    • J
      Jay SmithSep 6, 2025
If the pH alert LED is ON and "Er1" is displayed on the LCD screen of your Jandy Controller, indicating a pH overfeeding alert is ON and the setpoint has not been reached after 60 dosing cycles, refill the chemical feeder, increase the pH dose time, calibrate, clean, or replace the pH sensor, check and adjust alkalinity, and repair the feed pump.
