The clearance between the connecting link and upper feed lower shaft should be 2.5 mm when the upper feed
adjusting dial is set to "0".
To check:
1. Set the upper feed adjusting dial at "0".
Remove the belt cover and base cover
(Refer to page 1 to 2).
2. Turn the power switch on and select ( ) stitch.
Lower the feed dog.
3. Press the needle up/down button twice to raise the
needle, and the upper feed dog position will be
initialized.
4. Check if the clearance between the connecting link
and upper feed lower shaft is 2.5 mm.
If not, adjust it as follows.

To adjust:
1. Loosen the setscrew (use an Allen wrench of 2 mm
width across ats) on the upper feed adjusting arm (1).
Adjust the clearance between the connecting link
and upper feed lower shaft to 2.5 mm.
