CONTROLS
Front control panel view Jasic MIG 200CS
A. Amperage digital display: Displays current when welding in either MIG and MMA mode. Please note,
in MIG mode it will show the preset wire feed speed and then welding it will display amperage.
B. Voltage digital display: Displays MIG and MMA voltage when welding. Please note that these displays
are also used to show error codes, See page 42 for further details.
C. VRD indicator: VRD is an oponal facility on the MIG 200CS, please speak to your supplier for further
details.
D. 2T/4T selecon switch: This opon allows the user to switch between 2T (2 stroke) 4T (4 stroke/latch).
In 2T mode the weld will start and connue while the trigger is pressed. In 4T mode once the welding
arc has started can you then release the trigger and welding will connue unl the trigger is acvated
again.
E. Amperage and wire feed speed control: This dial has 2 funcons, when in MMA mode it adjusts the
amount of welding current delivered by the power source and in MIG mode it adjusts the rate of
speed (metre per minute) at which the ller metal is fed and consumed in the weld, which in turn
adjusts the output current by varying the amount of MIG wire delivered to the welding arc. See set up
chart on page 29 for further informaon.
F. Voltage, arc force and downslope me control dial: Welding voltage can be adjusted in MIG mode
only and will increase or decrease the output voltage to assist in nding the opmum voltage level
required dependent on the wire feed, wire size and applicaon being undertaken, see set up chart on
page 29.
Arc force: Funcons during welding, when the machine senses a short circuit it will oer more current
to help stabilize the welding arc, this will prevent the arc from cung out while welding as well as
prevenng the electrode from scking.
Downslope me: Used in the TIG mode and indicates the me spent on current dropping from the
preset value to 10 amps and is set according to users’ welding requirements.
G. Welding mode selector switch: This 7 posion switch allows the user to switch between MMA, TIG,
MIG and synergic MIG welding modes. See page 14 for further informaon.
