5.7.3. Adjustsoilchute
Adjust the soil chute before starting work with the machine.
The elevator empties the soil onto the soil chute. The soil chute directs the soil to
the pots.
Procedure:
1. Loosen clamp lever (A).
2. Adjust the soil chute.
a. The complete soil chute can be shifted backwards and forwards.
3. Tighten clamp lever (A).
4. Two toothed strips (B) are mounted at the soil chute.
Lift the strip to so that the chute can slide sideways in two directions.
a. This directs the potting soil.

Adjust the pot track before starting work with the machine.
Twoleversareusedtoadjustthepositionofthepottrackngersintwodirections:
• LeverA:adjustheightofpottrackngers.
• LeverB:adjustpottrackngerstowidthofpot.
The pot track ngers must be adjusted so that they are as high as possible against the rim of the pot. The pot
track ngers must not be adjusted too tightly against the pot: keep a clearance of about 3 mm on both sides.
Procedure:
1. Adjusttheheightofthepottrackngersusinglever(A).
a.Pulltheleveroutandpush/pullonthepottrackngerssothatthe
complete pot track turns.
b.Counterclockwise:thepottrackngersarelowered.
c.Clockwise:thepottrackngersareraised.
d. Adjust the track so that the pot is positioned at the center of the pot
support.
2. Theprocedurefortheoptimumadjustmentofthepottrackngersisas
follows:
a.Pushthepottrackngersasfaropenaspossible.
b.Adjustthengerstothehighestpossibleheight(dependsonpotsize).
c. Hold the pot in the guide rail with a clearance of about 3 mm on both
sides (important for centering the drilled hole).
3. Put the pot in the holder and adjust the width with lever (B).
a.Pulltheleveroutandpush/pullononeoftheshortpottrackngers.
b.Thepottrackngerscannowbeadjustedtothepotsize.
The drill unit + brush + soil scraper must be in the highest position. Check that the pot track can be started: the
pot track must turn freely.
