3.4. Operatingprinciple
Themachine'ssoilbinislledwithpottingsoil.Thesoilsupplybelttransportsthesoiltotheelevator.
The elevator collects the soil and pours it into pots that the pot dispenser places in the pot track's potholders. The
height and width of the pot track can be adjusted to cater for different pot sizes.
Thepottracktransportsthepotstothedrill,whichmakesholesinthesoil.Thedepthanddiameteroftheholes
made by the drill are adjustable. Once the holes have been made the pot track transports the pots to the take-off
unit that transfers them to a conveyor.
The machine is mounted on wheels for easy mobility.
