7.7. Troubleshooting

Electric motor malfunction
Grid voltage differs from the nominal
voltage by more than 10%
Provide for grid supply with the correct
voltage
Cooling air temperature too high Provide for cool air
Cable connection faulty
Check and repair cable connection if
necessary
Fuse blown Replace fuse

passage is blocked
Provide for proper supply and exhaust of
cooling air
Controller malfunction Consult the controller manual
Motor hums and draws
high current
Failed winding Repair or replace the motor
Loose wire Connect wire

Live parts in the motor contact the
housing or the motor has a short circuit
in the windings
Call in a repair company to remedy short
