Machine Description
The JCB Rough Terrain Fork Lift
This is a self-propelled, seated-operator, rough terrain
counterbalance truck for operation on unimproved natural
terrain and disturbed terrain. The machine has an integral
front-mounted mast and carriage. The carriage is normally
fitted with a pair of forks or other load carrying attachment
which can pick up a load through forward motion and raise
or lower it to a suitable height for transport and discharge
in another place.

Intended Use
The machine is intended to be used under normal
conditions for the applications described in this manual. If
the machine is used for other purposes or in dangerous
environments, for example in a flammable atmosphere or
in areas with dust containing asbestos, special safety
regulations must be followed and the machine must be
equipped for use in these environments.
