Checking the Axle Oil Level
!MCAUTION
The oil level must be checked with the machine level,
otherwise a false indication of the amount of oil will be
given.

1 Make the machine safe with the mast lowered. Refer
to Prepare the Machine for Maintenance.
2 Clean the area around fill/level plug A, then remove
the plug and its sealing washer. Oil should be level
with the bottom of the hole. Add recommended oil if
necessary.
3 Clean and refit the plug and its washer.
!MCAUTION
It is not recommended that the machine be driven with
the axle partially filled with oil.
