Bleeding the Fuel System
To bleed the engine fuel filter A carry out the following:
1 Disconnect the fuel line B at the injection pump.

2 Operate the fuel lift pump priming lever C until air free
fuel exits from the fuel line. K

3 Reconnect fuel line B.
4 The engine is now ready to start. If the engine runs
smoothly for a short time and then begins to run
roughly, leave at idle until it runs smoothly.
If the engine continues to run roughly, check again for
air in the fuel system.
If the fault persists contact your nearest JCB dealer.
