DANGER represents the hazards with a high level of risk which, if not prevented,
will cause death or serious injury.
WARNING represents the hazards with a medium level of risk which, if not
prevented, could cause death or serious injury, or cause damage to the Machine.
CAUTION represents the hazards with a low level of risk which, if not prevented,
could cause minor or moderate injury, or cause damage to the Machine.
Prohibition: species the operation that cannot be done.
Mandatory action: species the action that must be taken to prevent a
hazardous situation.
Hazard: species the hazards.

2- SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
JDE uses the danger, warning and caution statements in the document when it is necessary to take
special precautions to prevent the possible damage or injuries.
The warning statements are classied into the following three categories according to the severity of
the hazard and the level of risk specied in the ISO 3864 standard.
ISO 3864 standard species the general shapes and colors of the danger, warning, and caution
symbols.
