7.0.4.2 Hidden weights placement
How to t adhesive weights on the left side of
the rim disc (F 7.0.1)
Clean the tting position before attaching the
adhesive weights.
Fit adhesive weights on the left side of the
rim disc (Figura 7-17).
Applying hidden adhesive weights
The measured values and the positioning arrows for
the two correction positions behind the spokes (Figure
7-17) are given on the right of the Indications Field.
Turn the wheel to move one of the split
imbalances, on the right side (A,Figure 7-18)
into the compensation position (green arrows),
then lock the wheel with the brake pedal.
Clean the application point before attaching the
adhesive weight.
Apply the balance weight at the indicated point
(in the example 40 grams, A,Figure 7-18).
Turn the wheel to reach the remaining split right
side weights compensation position, then lock
the wheel with the brake pedal.
Having cleaned the area affected, apply behind
the second spoke the weight of the value
indicated (in the example 10 grams, B,Figure
7-18).
Note:
Applying split weights does not involve priorities.
The operator can choose which to apply fi rst.
