Setting Parameters
9.5 Counters
Every measuring run actually completed is stored.
Maximum count is 999,999 runs. Once this number is
reached,
the counter is reset to zero. The information
is primarily useful for statistical purposes, e. g. to obtain
evidence of load intervals of parts when defective,
or of monthly (yearly) use of the machine, etc. The
measuring runs performed while the machine is on
are transferred into the permanent memory and added
when it is switched off. The counter cannot be reset
or changed.
Select the Counters category (1, Fig.9-4) in
the SETTINGS screen (Figure 9-6) .The data
immediately available in the Values eld are the
following:
List of Counters (Figure 9-6)
a Total spins = Total number of measuring
runs
b Spins with = Number of measuring runs where
o.k. balance quality was considered OK
c Optimisation = Number of optimisations or
runs minimisations
d Service = Number of measuring runs in
service mode
e Since last = Number of measuring runs
calibration since the last calibration
f Clamps = Total number of wheels clamped
9.6 Input of promotional text
Select the General Settings category in the
SETTING
S screen, then select one of the 5
parameters in the central panel “Promotional Text”
(3, Fig. 9-7).
After the selection a keyboard is displayed with the
text entry fi eld.
To switch to upper case and additional characters
press (1, Fig. 9-8).
To go back by one position in the text, press (2, Fig. 9-8).
To close and enter the current text string, press
ENTER” (3, Fig. 9-8).
The promotional text, saved automatically, will appear
in the Main Screen INTRO SCREEN exactly as
entered by the user.
