4.6 Laser Pointer

The machine uses the Laser Pointer to indicate the
precise point for tting the adhesive weights on the
rim (F 7.0.1.1).
Note:
If the machine is set in Gauge arm mode as default, the
Laser Pointer mode can be activated by calling service.
Prolonged exposure to laser beams may damage
the eyes.
AVOID DIRECT OR REFLECTED EYE
CONTACT WITH THE LASER BEAM.
Laser beams used in Snap-on products are rated
as Class II.
Eye protection is normally afforded by aversion
responses, including the blink re! ex.
4.7 Cameras

The various Cameras aimed at the wheel are used for
the automatic acquisition of the Distance, Diameter and
Width, as well as to perform the three-dimensional scan
of the entire surface of the tyre and rim.

The arm is used to:
- Measure the rim distance only in MANUAL mode.
1 Arm, can be removed and folded upwards
2 Feeler rod used to measure the rim (Distance)
for all types of profi les.
