Detailed Procedures
Installing a UPM
To install a UPM:
1.
Decide on a location for the enclosure based on the Location
Considerations section of this document.
2.
Install the MVC-2000-1 enclosure by following the procedures in
the Universal Packaging Module Technical Bulletin
(LIT-6363070).
a.
Hang the enclosure.
b.
Land the conduit.
c.
Wire the 110 VAC power.
d.
Connect the DX-9100 to the N2 Bus.

WARNING: Shock Hazard. Disconnect the power supply
before making wiring connections. Failure to do
so can result in serious personal injury.
Notes:
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC (Federal
Communications Commission) rules. Operation is subject to
the following two conditions: (1) device may not cause
harmful interference, and (2) device must accept any
interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
Wiring connections must be made in accordance with the
National Electrical Code and local regulations for low
voltage wiring.

WARNING: Equipment Damage Hazard. The CO
2
sensor
power input must be electrically isolated. Do
not connect the sensor’s power inputs to any
other terminal. A connection between the input
terminals and the signal return will permanently
damage the unit. Also, do not use the power
inputs to supply power to any other device
because the unit’s power transformer could be
overloaded.
3.
Ensure the DX-9100 field connections are completed to the
terminal blocks before the controller is attached to the base.
