6. Complete steps 4 to 8 from the Mounting on a wall section.
Mounting a second detector in the opposite direction on a pole
1. Remove the chassis from the back box.
2. Using a screwdriver or similar tool, break the knockouts on the chassis of each detector. Choose a
different pair of knockouts for the second detector.
3. Use the supplied M3x8 screws to attach three mounting brackets to the chassis of each detector.
4. Use the supplied M4x30 screws and U-brackets to mount the chassis of each detector to the pole.
