CHAIN & SPRING REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE (JPS)
Tools required:
u Philips
screwdriver
u Hex key (4mm)
u C-Clip Pliers
Procedure:
1. Loosen the screws from the side
covers with the screwdriver.
2. Loosen the screws from both
springs by using the hex key
(4mm).
3. Replace the spring with a new
one.
4. Remove the chain latch to
separate the spring from the chain
by using the C-Clip Pliers, then
take out the spring (The spring
replacement is dangerous. Take
special cautions during the
operation
so you will not damage
both you and other parts.)
5. Remove the other chain latch
to separate the chain from the gear,
and then take out the chain.
6. Replace the chain with a new
one.
7. Install the chain latch.
8. Tighten the screws in both springs.
9. Install the side covers.
