BEARING REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE (JPS)
Tools required:
u Philips
screwdriver
u Hex key (4mm)
u Bearing puller
u C-Clip pliers
u Wood-hammer
Procedure:
1. With the screwdriver to
remove the side covers of the
steeper.
2. Loosen the POLY-V belt
430J8 & 430J6.
3. Using the hex key (4mm)
to loosen screws holding the
bearing housing to the frame.
4. Remove the spring hooked
at the idler pulley bracket.
(Take cautions not to damage
the Generator.)
5. With the C-Clip Pliers
remove the C-clip and then
using the Bearing Puller
remove the Bearing Housing.
u If the Ball Bearing failed,
replace it.
