Safety
Helmets
Always wear an approved helmet (look for CE marking
or an EN-1078 for adults and EN-1080 for children)
while riding your Jorvik tricycle. Make sure that you
follow the helmet manufacturers instrucon for ng
and use. Take good care of your helmet and change
aer an impact/crash or once it has come to the end of
its life.
It is the owners responsibility to familiarise yourself
with your local laws where you ride your Jorvik tricycle
and that applicable laws are complied with.
Mechanical Safety
Check the condion of your Jorvik trike before each
ride. Vibraons during use can cause bolts and
xings to become loose. Make sure that all nuts,
bolts and accessory are not loose. Pay special
aenon to front axle, handlebars and stem. Make
sure that tyres are to the correct pressure for the
riding condions; these are found on the side walls
of the tyres. Check your brakes are operang
correctly.
A bedding in period will occur within the rst 100
miles of use. Therefore, a service in this rst period
is best pracce and is to be carried out by a
qualied cycle mechanic.
