Fresh air supply
Theairusedforcombustioninanywell-insulatedhouseneeds
to be replaced. This is particularly important in houses with
mechanicalventilation.Suchreplacementaircanbeprocured
inseveralways.Themostimportantthingistosupplytheair
totheroomwherethestoveisplaced.Placetheoutsidewall
valveasclosetothestoveaspossibleandmakesurethatit
can be closed when the stove is not in use.
For the fresh air supply connection, follow the national and
local building regulations.
Closed combustion system
Usethestove’sclosedcombustionsystemifyouliveinrecently
built,airtightdwellings.Connecttheexternal combustion air
throughaventilationpipethroughthewallortheoor.
Air supply
TheamountofcombustionairforJøtul’sproductsisapproximately
20-40m

/h.Theoutsideairconnectionmaybetteddirectlyto
the Jøtul F 520 through:
• thebottom/rear
• through a exible supply hose from the outside/chimney
(onlyifthechimneyhasitsownductforexternalair)andto
theproduct’soutsideairconnector.
