6-19-2 Adjusting the height of the auto-lifter

Remove the needle.
1. In the state the power switch is turned OFF, keep the re-
versefeedstitchingbuttonandthethreadtrimmingbut-
ton held pressed simultaneously until the power switch is
turned ON.
The Service mode screen is displayed. Select "0mm Set-
ting".
2. Turn the handwheel to lower the feed dog until it sinks un-
der the throat plate.
3. Pushdownthepresserfootholderuntilthesoleoftheba-
sic presser foot comes in contact with the throat plate.
4. In the aforementioned state, press any part outside the
frame on the screen to exit from the setting mode.
 Theadjustedvalueisconrmedatthetimeofexitingfrom
the setting mode.
6. Lift the presser foot with the presser foot lifting lever.
Then,lowerthebasicpresserfootwitha12-mmspacer
placed under it.
* Carefully check the position of the needle bar.
7. In the aforementioned state, press any part outside the
frame on the screen to exit from the setting mode.
 Theadjustedvalueisconrmedatthetimeofexiting
from the setting mode.
5. Select "12mm Setting".
