A. Enclosure assembly parts (Fig. 8)
1. Top cover
Remove 5 screws fastening the top cover.
(4 screws (VKZ3001-002) on both sides and a
screw @) (SDST3006R) on rear side.)
. Cassette door
Push the eject button to open the cassette door.
Remove 2 screws (LDSP2005R) fastening the
cassette door on right side.
. Mecha. operation button ass’y
1) Remove 2 screws (SSSP2606Z) ) fastening the
front panel on under side.
2) Pull off its button ass’y to under side, removing the
both sides grooves.
. Front panel assembly
1) Remove 3 screws 6) (SBSF3008Z) on upper
side.
2) Remove 2 screws (6) (SDST3006Z) on left under
side.
3) Remove 2 screws @ (SSSP2606Z) on right
under side.
4 )Remove a screw (SDST2006Z) on center
under side.
5) Pull off the front panel ass‘y to front side. (with
music scan SW P.W.B. and its wires)
6) Remove a screw (SDST3006Z) fastening the
music scan SW P.W. board.
. Bottom cover
Remove 3 screws (SDST3006Z)
Electrical parts (Fig. 8)
. Power switch (with P.W. board)
1) Remove the remote_bar.
2) Remove a screw 47) (SDST3006Z) fastening the
switch bracket.
3) Remove 2 screws (2) (LPSP2606Z) fastening
the power switch.
. Mecha. control P.W. board ass’y
1) Remove 2 screws 43) (SDST3006Z)
2) Pull off its P.W. Board to right side.
3) Disconnect 2 connector
. Main Amp. P.W. board ass’y
1) Remove knobs (timer standby, and select
switches) to forward.
2) Remove 2 screws (SSSP3006Z) fastening
the select switch.
3) Remove 6 screws fastening the bracket.
SSSP3006Z (front left side) — 2 p.c.s.
SDST3008Z (front right side) — 2 p.c.s.
SDST3008RS (rear side) — 2 p.c.s.
4) Remove 4 screws (SDST3008Z) fastening
the main Amp. P.W. board.
5) Remove a screw (SDST3006R) fastening the
jack escutcheon.
6) Pull off the main amp. P.W.B. to rear side.
. Recording level control P.W. board.
1) Remove the control knob
2) Remove a washer and a nut
shaft.
. Indicator P.W. board
Remove 2 pawls on upper side of P.W. board.

Mechanical assembly (Fig. 8)
1) Remove a screw (SDST2604C) on bottom side.
2) Remove a mecha. control P.W. board.
3) Remove 4 screws (SDST2604Z) fastening
the side bracket of mecha. assembly.

Remove 2 screws (LPSP2606Z) fastening the shield
plate. (these screws fasten with the bracket)

REW/FF gear
