Adjusting Focus Manually (FOCUS)
Adjust the focus manually when you are unable to focus clearly using
Intelligent Auto or when you want to lock the focus.

Select the Manual recording mode.

If the mode is P Intelligent Auto, tap P on the recording screen
to display the mode switching screen.
Tap H to switch the recording mode to Manual.

Tap “MENU”.

The top menu appears.

Tap “FOCUS”.

Tap L to exit the menu.

Tap J to return to the previous screen.

Tap “MANUAL”.

Adjust the focus.

Tap E to focus on a distant subject.
If E appears blinking, focus cannot be set any further.

Tap p to focus on a near subject.
If p appears blinking, focus cannot be set any nearer.

Tap “SET” to confirm.

focus is confirmed, the focusing frame disappears and E and
p are displayed.
