Allows you to displ_y the date and time in the
cal_/corder or on a conllected color monitor, as
well as to record them manually or
automatically.
You should have already performed the Date/
Time Setting procedure (_-T_ pg. 11).

Set the Power Switch to "PRO.".
Press the Select Wheel to display tile Menu Screen.
Rotate the Select Wheel to move the highlight bar to
"DATE/TIME DISE" while in Record-Standby, then
press it t() display the Date/Time DISP. Menu.
Rotate the Select Wheel to move the highlight bar to
the desired mode, then press it. Tile desired mr)de is
activated.
The Menu Screen reappears with the highlight bar on
"RETURN". Press the Select Wheel to close the Menu
Screen.

AUTO DATE
• Y()ur camc()rder atltomatical/y record_ the date lot about
5 secorlds after recording is initiated in the following
situations:
After changing the date.
After loading a cassette.
After Aut_) Date Rec_)rd mode is selected by r_)tating
the Select Wheel.
• In this n'lode, the date is replaced after 5 seconds with
"AUTO DATE" but this is not rec_;rded.
Instant Titles
Tile carncorder has eight preset titles in
memory. You car/superimpose one of them
over tile video image.
Instant Titles can be displayed not only in
English but also in French, Spanish and
Portuguese. Change the setting in TITLE LANG.
in the Menu Screen. (_-z* pg. 22, 24).
Set the Power Switch to "PRO.".
Press the Select Wheel to display the Menu Screen.
Rotate the Select Wheel to move the highlight bar to
"TITLE" while in Recr)rd-Standby, then press it to
display the TITLE Menu.
Rotate the Select Wheel to move the highlight bar to
the desired mode, then press it. The desired mode is
activated.
oTo mal<e the title indication disappear, select "OFF".
Tile Menu Screen reappears with the highlight bar on
"RETURN". Press the Select Wheel to close the Menu
Screen.
NOTE:
The selected title will remain until OFF is selected in the
TITLE Menu.
