Playback Features
Still Picture/Frame-By-Frame
Playback

Pause during playback.
Press

● If there is vertical jitter, press PR +/– on the remote control to
correct the picture.

Activate frame-by-frame playback.
Press

Slow Motion
During still picture, press and hold
9
for 2 seconds, then
release. Press
9
and release again to return to still
picture.
NOTE:
During slow motion playback, some noise may appear on the TV
screen. Press PR + or – on the remote control to eliminate the
noises.
High-Speed (Turbo) Search
During playback, press
5
for forward high-speed
search, or
3
for reverse high-speed search.
●
Turn on the TV and select the video channel (or AV
mode).
●
Slide the TV/S-VHS/DVD switch to the right.
ATTENTION
● Picture may not appear during high-speed search with an
LP/EP-recorded tape.
● Noise may appear or the picture may appear distorted with
an EP-recorded tape during still, slow motion, frame-by-
frame playback or variable speed search.
● In the high-speed search, still, slow motion or frame-by-
frame playback mode, the picture will be distorted, and
there will be a loss of colour.
To resume normal playback, press
