• For KW-M540BT Australian/New Zealand models:
To use the remote controller, purchase optional
remote controller, RM-RK258.
Refer to the instruction manual supplied with the
remote controller.
• The unit is equipped with a steering wheel remote
control function. (Page 36)

Preparation
Removing the battery sheet
Pull the battery sheet out from the remote controller
to activate the battery.
Changing the battery of the remote
controller
CR2025 (+side)
• Use a commercially available button battery
(CR2025).
• Insert the battery with the + and – poles aligned
properly.
– If the effectiveness of the remote controller
decreases, replace the battery.
Navigation settings
(Only for KW-V640BT Region 3 except for
Indonesian models/KW-V640BTM Region 2/
KW-M540BT Southeast Asian models/
KW-M540BTM)
Display the <Navigation> screen.
On the Home screen, touch as follows:
Then, on the <SETUP> screen, touch [Navigation].
<NAV Voice Volume>
Adjust the volume of the navigation guidance. (0 to
40, Initial: 24)
