ANTENNAS
AM (MW/LW) loop antenna (Fig. 2, 3)
This antenna is for the reception of local AM
broadcasts. If it is too close to the rear panel,
pull it away from the panel and adjust it for
best reception by tilting. This loop antenna can
be tilted outward by 180°. Make sure to con-
nect the ground lead to the GND terminal.
When too much noise occurs (Fig. 4).
Change the direction of the loop antenna or
remove it and reinstall it in a position that gives
best reception. The loop antenna can be re-
moved easily by pulling it towards you.
AM (MW/LW) external antenna (Fig. 5)
{f AM reception is not good, connect an ex-
ternal AM antenna (single-wire antenna) to the
AM ANTENNA terminal.
Notes:
elf the provided loop antenna is not installed
or the antenna cord touches to the rear
panel. it will be impossible to receive AM
broadcasts.
@ When installing an AM external antenna, leave
the AM loop antenna connected.
FM antennas
@ 75-ohm antenna with coaxial lead (Fig. 6)
Loosen the screws on the bracket and insert
the cable into the ring from below. Then con-
nect the stripped core to the upper terminal.
The bracket ring works as the ground ter-
minal.
e@ Feeder antenna (Fig. 7}
Connect to the 300-ohm terminal.
Take care that the wires of the feeder antenna
do not touch any other terminal.
e75-ohm antenna with coaxial type connector
(DIN 45 332) for W. Germany (Fig. 8)
Connect to the 75-ohm terminal.
ANTENNEN
AM (MW/LW)-Rahmenantenne (Abb. 2, 3)
Diese Antenne ist fir den Empfang jokaler AM-
Sender vorgesehen. Befindet sie sich zu nahe an
der Rtickplatte, die Antenne flr optimaten
Empfang nach auRen schwenken. Diese Rahmen-
antenne kann bis zu 180° nach auRen ge-
schwenkt werden. Darauf achten, das das
Erdungskabel am GND-Anschliuf& angebracht
wurde.
Wenn zu viele Stérgerausche empfangen werden
(Abb. 4)
Die Richtung der Rahmenantenne verandern
oder diese abnehmen und in einer Position
wiederanbringen, die einen besseren Empfang
ergibt. Die Rahmenantenne kann leicht hori-
zontal abgezogen werden.
AM (MW/LW)-AuBenantenne (Abb. 5) ,
Falls der AM-Empfang unzureichend ist, eine
externe AM-Antenne (Einkabel-Antenne) am
AM ANTENNA-Anschlu anbringen,
Hinweise:
@Bei nicht installierter Rahmenantenne oder
wenn das Antennenkabel die Rickplatte
beriihrt, ist jeder AM-Empfang unméglich.
eBei Anschlu& einer AM-AuRenantenne, die
AM-Rahmenantenne angeschlossen lassen.
UKW-Antennen
@ 75-Ohm-Antenne mit Koaxialkabe! (Abb. 6)
Die Schrauben der Halterung I6sen und das
Kabel von unten durch den Ring einfiihren,
Dann die abisolierte Ader an den oberen An-
schlu& anschlieSen. Der Klemmenring dient
als Erdungsanschlu&.
@ Speiseantenne (Abb. 7)
An den 300-Ohm-Anschluf anschlieRen.
Darauf achten, da die Drahte der Speise-
antenne keinen anderen Anschiufi beruhren.

332) fiir BRD (Abb. 8)
An den 75-Ohm-Anschlu& anschlieen.
