Connecting the PV generator
. Remove protective caps from the DC connection plugs.
. Connect PV generator to the DC plug connectors on the underside of the housing.
. Meet the requirements of the protection rating by closing the unused plug connectors with protective caps.
. Put on cover to safeguard the DC connections and latch into place by pressing it. (Figure on page )
» The inverter is connected to the PV generator.
. Grounding the housing
DANGER
Dangerous voltage due to two operating voltages!
Severe injuries or death may occur if the cables and terminals in the device are touched.
› The discharge time of the capacitors is up to minutes. Only after that time, it is permitted to open
the device.
› Establish ground connection under all circumstances before connecting the supply circuit.
› Make sure that the device is isolated from the public power supply and the system power supply
before starting work.
An optional grounding of the housing is possible at the grounding point provided for that purpose in the connec-
tion area of the inverter. Please observe any national installation regulations in this regard.

Grounding the housing
. Detach cable tting for grounding the housing.
. Remove the insulation from the grounding cable and isolate.
. Furnish the stripped cable with an M ring cable lug.
. Screw the ring cable lug to the grounding point with an M/TX screw.
. Check that the cable is secure.
» Housing is grounded.
. Connecting the interfaces
All interfaces are located on the connection circuit board behind the cover for the connection area. Use the cable
ttings and plug connections provided (see Figure on page ).
