Thread the machine correctly by referring to the illustration.
Obtain proper angle and height by inserting looper fully into holder A.
Looper point should pass the center of the left needle.
Set looper distance from point to needle bar center at 6mm.
Looper point should be 1.3-1.6mm above left needle's eye.
Looper point 1.3-1.6mm above left needle's eye at center.
Adjust looper orbit by moving eccentric A.
Clearance between left needle and looper is 0.05-0.1mm.
Align line (a) on guard A with center of right needle hole.
Set clearance between needles and front needle guard A.
Distance between needle plate and spreader bottom is 9-11mm.
Timing is factory-set; adjust according to thread or conditions.
Feed dog teeth should be parallel with and 0.8-1mm above needle plate.
Align new lower knife E blade with top surface of needle plate.
Create clearance up/down between upper and lower knives.
Loosen arm cover and oil reservoir screws.
Install belt, bearing, plates, collar, pulley, cover.
