Change the engine oil
! Suck out the engine oil with oil
change pump 6.491-538 via the oil
filler inlet
! Fill-in engine oil
! Check the engine oil level
Danger of burns!
Do not touch hot parts such as drive
motor and waste gas system.
Clean and change spark plug
! Open unit cover
! Remove the spark plug connector
! Unscrew spark plug
! Clean or change spark plug
! Screw in the spark plug
! Plug in the spark plug connector
Check the air cleaner
Unscrew the sealing cover.
Take off the lid.
! Take out filter cartridge
! Use a new filter cartridge
! Place on and install the sealing
cover
Change the dust filter
♦ Wear a dust protection mask when
working on the filter system.
♦ Observe the safety precautions for
handling fine dust.
Open the dust filter housing and
remove cover.
Loosen both fastening bolts.
Twist the retaining bracket to the left.
Remove the dust filter fastener.
Take out the dust filter.
Put a new dust filter on the centring.
Insert the dust filter fastener.
♦ The fastening bolts must be guided
through the retaining bracket.
♦ The drive pins must be inserted in
the dust filter notches.
