î Change the Fuel Filter Element
* Hot oil and components can cause personal
injury.
* Fuel leaked or spdled on to hot surfaces can
cause a fire.
WARNING
500HOURS
1.
Lower the bucket on the
ground and stop
the engine.
2. Turn the fuel stop lever (2) to the "closed"
(OFF) position. Loosen the ring nut (3).
3. Remove the cup (4) and the element (5).
4. Drain water and sediment into a suitable
container.
NOTE:
Always dispose of drai
ned fluids as
established by local regulations.
5.
Clean the inside su
rface of the cup (4).
6. Install the new element (5).
7. Inspect the O-ring (4). Replace it if they are
worn or damaged.
8. Install cup (4) on body and tighten ring nut
(3).
9. Turn the fuel stop lever (2) to the "opened"
(ON) position.
NOTE:
Do not start the engine until aIl fu
el system
service is completed.
10. There should be en
ough fuel in the system
to allow the engine to start. Keep the engine
start switch key at ON for a period of 20
seconds. Which operates the fuel pump and
priming automatically.
