LUBRICANT OIL
Oil is an important factor that affects engine performance and life. Never substitute motor oil with regular
machine oil, gearbox oil or vegetable oil.
The oil that comes from the factory is multigrade 15W/40. This type of oil is used since it covers a wide
range of ambient temperatures, however it is the responsibility of the motorcycle user to replace the oil with
another type if the ambient temperature is outside the covered range. Viscosity can vary due to changes in
environmental temperature. To replace the oil, completely drain the original lubricant and fill with the new
lubricant. For an optimal oil change, it is recommended to take the unit to an authorized service center.

Depending on the average ambient temperature in your location, it is recommended to replace the oil
according to the following table. Failure to do so may cause damage and/or premature wear to your
