OPERATION
Proper use of your motorcycle will prolong its useful life and help prevent accidents. It is important to
always inspect your motorcycle before using it. Below is a list that you will need to complete before using it
and that will only take a few minutes but will give you confidence and save time and repair costs.
PRE-DRIVE INSPECTION
1. Check oil and fuel leaks.
2. Check the engine oil level and add if required.
3. Check the gasoline level and add if required. Never exceed the level.
4. Check the operation of the front and rear brakes as well as the fluid level. Adjust if necessary.
5. Check the tires for proper pressure, look for signs of wear or damage. Check
6. that the accelerator returns freely after releasing it.
7. Check the headlights, brake lights and turn signals. Make sure the horn works. You will need to change
the fuses if necessary.
8. Make sure the front, rear and fork axles are securely secured.
9. Check the fuel hoses for cracks and leaks.
10. Check the fluid level in the radiator reservoir (available on some models only).
