Changing needle
C) Right needle clamp screw
(_) Left needle clamp screw
Disconnect the machine from the power supply,
Raise the needle to its highest position Then loosen needle
clamp screw O or (_) for the needle you are going to
remove.
Refer to page 50 for changing the needle for 3-thread
serging,

_) Needle stopper pin
(_) Edge of needle bar
To attach the needle on the right
Insert new needle into the needle clamp (_ with the flat
side to the back (_Duntil the top of needle touches the
stopper pin _), then tighten the right needle clamp screw
0.
To attach the needle on the left
insert new needle into the needle clamp (_) with the flat
side to the back _) until the top of the needle touches the
edge of needle bar (_), then tighten the left needle clamp
screw (_).
* When the needles are set correctly, the left needle is
higher than the right one.

* Do not use any needle which is bent or blunL
NOTE: Your overlock uses standard sewing
needles (HA-1 SP, #11, #14)_
No special needles are required.
