It may be necessary 1o clean the shuttle area occasionally.
1. Raise the needle bar to its highest
point and remove bobbin case,
2, Push levers Mdeways o| the shuttle
assembly and lift hook and hook ring
out by the center pro,
3, Clean the shutt|e race of any lint o_
small particles of thread with a small
brush.
4. Put a drop of oil on the center pin
and on race in back of the hook,
