Kenmore 52 - Cleaning and Oiling; Replacement of the Belt

REPLACEMENTOFTHEBELT
To replace a worn belt. loosen motor bracket
set bolt and remove belt by reducin_ the
distance bet_ccn motor pulley and hand
wheel. Install new belt and adjust the
disLancc between th_ motor pulley and hand
wheel. To provide proper tension, allow
the belt to _upport the weight o_[ the motor
and then firmly tighten the motor bracket
set bolt+

Cleaning should be done with a small brush,
When machine runs hard or makes excessive
_mlse, place a drop of KENMORE sewing
machine oit at the points indicated in figs,
A, B, & C.
