Operation Verification and Performance Tests
Operation verification tests
To ensure that the power supply is operating properly, without testing all specified
parameters, perform the following verification tests:
– Perform the power-on self-test and follow the procedures for “Checking the
output” on page 34. (Refer to “Self-test” on page 75 for more information.)
– Perform the Voltage programming and readback accuracy and Current
programming and readback accuracy tests.
Performance tests
The following sections provide the test procedures for verifying the power supply’s
compliance with the specifications listed in “Electrical Specifications” on
page 184. All of the performance test specifications and calculated measurement
uncertainties are entered in the appropriate performance test record card for your
specific model. You can record the actual measured values in the column provided
in this card.
If you use equipment other than that recommended in Table 8-4, you must
recalculate the measurement uncertainties for the actual equipment used.
