When the E364xA is powered up or down, the output voltage will overshoot to not
more than ±1 V (i.e., +1 V max during power up and –1 V max during power
down).
To prevent this voltage overshoot, Keysight recommends you to connect the
diode(s) in series at the device-under-test’s (DUT) input supply as shown in
Figure 2-2. This will block any reverse voltage and current flow to the DUT. Note
that this recommendation is only suitable for single output applications.
