DC Current Offset /Gain Calibration Procedure
Review “Test Considerations” on page 16 and “Gain Adjustments” on page 36
before beginning this procedure.
Configuration: DC Current
1 For steps 30 through 34 in the table below, configure each function and range
as shown, and configure the instrument as shown below.
2 Apply the input signal shown in the “Input” column of the table. Enter the
actual applied rms input voltage (see “Adjustments on page 33).
NOTE
Steps 27-30 are only available with the M9183A. If you are calibrating an
M9182A, skip these steps. Always complete tests in the specified order as
shown in the appropriate table.
Before step 26 can be performed, the offsets (step 1) and VDC gains (steps 7, 8,
and 9) must be performed. Step 26 must be performed before steps 27-34.
