3 Configure the instrument as shown below, depending on whether the
calibration step is 2-wire or 4-wire.
4 Enter the actual applied input resistance (see “Adjustments” on page 33).
a Successful completion of each adjustment value is indicated by the
message CAL SUCCEEDED flashing in the display.
b If a problem is encountered, the display will flash the message CAL FAILED.
Check the input value, range, function, and entered adjustment value to
correct the problem and repeat the adjustment step.
5 Repeat these steps for each gain adjustment point shown in the table.
6 Store the new calibration constants (see “Storing the Calibration Constants”
on page 33).
Before steps 44-48 can be performed, DCV gains (steps 7-11) must be
performed.
