1. Perform the steps under “Pre-replacement Procedure” on page 7-21.
2. Unsolder the RTC battery from the A3 FPIB.
3. Insert and solder the new RTC battery into place.
4. Perform the steps under “Post-replacement Procedure” on page 7-28.

Post-replacement Procedure
1. Reinstall the measurement group assemblies (RF top panel, A4 RF board,
A5 system board, and A6 SOM board) as one unit with the I/O panel
attached. Refer to “Removing and Replacing the Measurement Group
Assemblies” on page 7-29.
2. Combine the front and rear cases. Refer to “Combining the Front and Rear
Cases” on page 7-17.
