Keysight U3606B Service Guide 101
Calibration Message
The instrument allows you to store a message in calibration memory. For example,
you can store information such as the date of the last calibration performed, the
date of the next calibration, the instrument serial number, or even the name and
phone number of the person to contact for a new calibration. The calibration
message may contain up to 40 characters.
You can record a calibration message only when the instrument is unsecured.
You can read the calibration message (from the remote interface only) whether
the instrument is secured or unsecured.
To store a calibration message use the CALibration:STRing and
CALibration:STRing? commands from the remote interface.
See the U3606B Programmer’s Reference for more information on the
CALibration subsystem.
J CAL:STR "LAST CAL: 27
November 2013, by AT."
This command stores a message in the calibration
memory.
J CAL:STR?
This query returns the message currently stored in
calibration memory (the quotes are also returned).
