Features of your vehicle Door locks
With central door lock switch
Driver side
Passenger side
Operate by pressing the central door
lock switch.
For Driver’s door:
僅 When pushing down on the right por
-
tion (1) of the switch, all vehicle doors
will lock.
僅 When pushing down on left portion
(2) of the switch, all vehicle doors will
unlock.
For Front Passenger’s door:
僅 When pushing down on the front por

tion (1) of the switch, all vehicle doors
will lock.
僅 When pushing down on the rear por

tion (2) of the switch, all vehicle doors
will unlock.
If the smart key is in the vehicle and any
front door is opened, the doors will not
lock even though the right portion (1,
driver's door) or the front portion (1, pas
-
senger's door) of the central door lock
switch is pressed.
Doors
The doors should always be fully closed
and locked while the vehicle is in motion
to prevent accidental opening of the
door.
Unattended children/animals
Never leave children or animals unat
-
tended in your vehicle. An enclosed
vehicle can become extremely hot, caus
-
ing death or severe injury to unattended
children or animals who cannot escape
the vehicle.
Door lock/unlock features
Impact sensing door unlock sys

tem
All doors will automatically unlock when
an impact causes the air bags to deploy.
Speed sensing door lock system
All doors will automatically lock after the
vehicle speed exceeds 9 mph (15 km/h).
You can activate or deactivate the Auto
door lock/unlock by selecting 'User Set
-
tings (LCD display) or Setup → Vehicle
(Infotainment System screen) → Door →
Auto Lock/Auto Unlock'.
