Install the belts on the snowblower pulleys (items 5-6-
7).
Make sure that each strand of the belts are inside the
pins that are used as belt guides (item 4).
Verify the adjustment.
The distance (item B) between the cable end (item 3)
and the cable support should be 1/4’’ (.250") to
5/16’’ (.312") when in the engaged position.
If not, adjust the cable (item 1) by extending the cable
adjustment (See instructions on p.22). If the cable
adjustment is at its limit, unhook the spring (item 2)
and remove the cable end (item 3).
Shorten the cable adjustment. Cut the inner cable 1
1/4" longer than the shield and reinstall as removed.
Reinstall the cable end with the hex socket set screw.
Do not tighten too firmly the hex socket set screw, if
too tight it might cut the inner cable.
NOTE: If there is not enough tension on the
spring (item 2) the belts will slip and be ruined.
