(1) Oil Filter Cartridge
To prevent serious damage to the
engine, use only a KIOTI genu-
ine filter.
REPLACING ENGINE OIL
FILTER

1. Remove the oil filter.
2. Put a film of clean engine oil on the
rubber seal of the new filter.
3. Add engine oil to the specified level.
4. Run the starting motor for about 10
seconds to send oil to each engine
part.
5. After running the engine for about 5
minutes, check if it is normal through
the oil warning lamp and then stop
the engine (If the oil warning lamp is
turned OFF during running the
engine, it is normal).
6. Again check oil with an oil gauge and
add if necessary.
To avoid personal injury:
Be sure to stop the engine be-
fore changing oil filter cartridge.
Allow engine to cool down
sufficiently, oil can be hot and
can burn.
