STOPPING THE ENGINE
Reduce engine revolution. Depress the
clutch pedal. After running the engine
at idle for about 2-3 minutes
necessarily, turn off the ignition switch
key, and then the engine stops. Set
parking brake brake before leaving the
tractor.

As starting motor needs a lot of
electric current, please do not
use it more than 10 seconds
continuously. If it is not started
within 10 seconds, stop and wait
30 seconds, and then repeat the
same operation. If it will not start
at all, please do not restart be-
fore the flywheel stops.
7. Turn the key switch to start position.
8. If the engine coolant temperature is
above the 32 degrees F. the glow
plug light will not glow. This tractor
will not preheat the glow plugs until
the coolant temperature is below 32
degrees F.
9. If during cold weather start up if the
glow plug light comes on wait until
the glow plug light goes out before
starting the tractor.

Please do not turn the key to start
position while the engine is
running.
10. In extremely cold environments the
tractor can be manually preheated.
Please contact your local KIOTI
dealer for these directions.
11. Do not spin the starter more than
10 second and if the engine does
not crank let the starter cool for 30
seconds before restarting.
12. Allow ample warm up time usually
about 5 minutes before working the
tractor . Refer to the section on Low
Temperature Warm Up.
