KMS MD35 manual
Version 4.16 42
3.2.4.1.9.4.3 Boost reduction to gear position
Boost pressure can be reduced for each separate gear (only possible after the gearpositions are
calibrated) shown in the first row. The second row contains the correction in percentages on the
actual used PWM-map.
3.2.4.1.9.4.4 Boost reduction to speed
Boost pressure can also be reduced for up to ten speeds (only possible if the KMS speed sensor to
CAN converter is used). The first row contains ten boxes where speeds can be entered, the first box
is fixed at 0. In the second row, the boost correction in percentages can be entered for each
corresponding speed interval. In the example below the first speed interval ranges from 0 to 10
km/h and has a boost reduction of 80%. The second speed interval ranges from 10 to 20 km/h and
has a boost reduction of 75%, etc.
3.2.4.1.9.4.5 Boost reduction on
Here you can select the boost reduction for separate variables. For
example you can reduce boost if you exceed a specific exhaust gas
temperature. The values for the reduction which can be set here are
correction percentages on the actual used PWM-map.
