1.3.4 Symbols used in the text
Reference A reference to other pages in this Operating manual starts with the double arrow
symbol "
".
Action and reaction The symbol "
" indicates an action of the personnel, whilst the

" indicates the triggered reaction of the device.
For example:

The lamp illuminates.

Personnel warning A personnel warning consists of several parts:
•A pictogram,
• a signal word that characterises the degree of danger,
• a note about the type of danger and
• one (or several) instruction(s) to prevent the danger, introduced by a "
" symbol.

Danger Danger with a high level of risk which can cause death
