5.7 Conditioning the Energy storage solution
Basic information If the Energy storage solution has been de-energised for more than 1 year, it must
be conditioned. Failure to do this may result in the Energy storage solution being
damaged when the main supply voltage is switched on.
The date of manufacture is on the model plate (
Page 9, Fig. 2).
During conditioning, the Energy storage solution is connected to the DC link but
is not ready for use.

The commissioning
procedure
Connect the Energy storage solution to the DC link
(
Chapter 5.1, page 17).
The Energy storage solution will be conditioned (charged up).
Wait for the duration of the conditioning period which corresponds to the length
of the voltage-free period (
Fig. 16).
The application can then be enabled again.
