5.7 Conditioning the Energy storage solution
Basic information • If the Energy storage solution has been de-energised for more than 1 year, it must
be conditioned. Failure to do this may result in the Energy storage solution being
damaged when the main supply voltage is switched on.
• The date of manufacture is on the model plate (
Page 9, Fig. 2).
• During conditioning, the Energy storage solution is connected to the DC link but
is not ready for use.

The commissioning
procedure
Connect the Energy storage solution to the DC link
(
Chapter 5.1, page 17).
The Energy storage solution will be conditioned (charged up).
Wait for the duration of the conditioning period which corresponds to the length
of the voltage-free period (
Fig. 16).
The application can then be enabled again.
