Format
Please Note: formatting enables you to
delete all contents on a memory card
and camera’s built-in memory, including
protected photo and movie iles.
To use this setting:
1. Press the button, press the up/down
arrow buttons to select and press
the button to enter the menu.
2. Press the up/down arrow buttons to
select and press the button or
right arrow button to enter the menu.
3. Press the up/down arrow buttons
to select [Format] and press the
button or right arrow button to enter
the menu.
4. Press the up/down arrow buttons to
select [Yes] or [No] and press the
button to conirm.

5. If you select [Yes] the camera will format
its memory.
If there is no memory card in the
camera, the built-in memory will be
formatted; if there is a memory card
installed, only the memory card will
be formatted.
